Repipe:

Repiping is a whole process of replacing the pipes within your home. It is a complete replacement of the entire supply plumbing system. This change may be necessary because of the age of the plumbing and erosion that may cause low pressure, leaks, discoloration or flaking in the water flow.

null

Plumbing:

The system of piping and all of the connected waterways within a building (commercial or residential) that's required for the watering supply, heating, and sanitation.

null

Copper Piping:

Piping made of copper or a copper alloy. Copper will not rust and has a long effective lifespan of 50-70 years. However, water quality can play a significant role in shortening the lifespan of copper piping.

null

Galvanized Steel Piping:

An older type of piping used for water piping. It is coated with a zinc compound to help prevent erosion. However, after years of exposure to water, the pipes corrode on the inside leading to rust and gunk in the water supply and through your faucets.

null

PEX Piping:

PEX stands for cross-linked polyethylene. It is a newer and more flexible tubing system that is easier and less intrusive to install. The average lifespan of this piping is about 50 years.

null

Shower Shock:

The situation when the temperature of one water outlet within a building is affected by the use of another water outlet within that same building.

null

Rusty Water:

The rust is a result of decay and erosion within the out-of-date piping which is flaking off. The rusted flakes of metal are mixing with the water supply causing discoloration (usually brown or yellow colored).

null

Pin Hole Leaks:

Copper is typically a long-lasting and tough material, however, there are times for several reasons that corrosion may occur which causes tiny holes and leakage throughout the piping. Ask us how to prevent these tiny leaks.

null

Slab Leaks

A slab is a concrete foundation under a building, and when there is a slab leak, the piping is usually under the concrete slab. The leak can be either the hot or cold water line and can vary in size.

null

Low Water Pressure:

The force of water from a particular outlet is low.

null

Hot Water:

Water that is increased in temperature.

null

Gas:

An air like fluid substance such as steam for water.

null

Drains

Piping which carries water to a certain direction. Wastewater to a septic tank or city sewer

null

Water Heaters:

An appliance used in a building which can hold a significant amount of water. The water is heated through gas or electric means and stored for later use.

null

Shower Valves:

A thermostatic mixing valve in the shower safely blends hot and cold water to help prevent unsafe outlet temperatures.

null

Re-Routes:

Rerouting happens when there is a problem with the piping under the slab foundation. The relocation of the new piping to a wall or ceiling allows for later ease of access.
